Balancing Health Bothell

We offer the following types of massage services:

  • Swedish - This is the foundation on which all our techniques are built. It is fluid and smooth in its application and has tremendous versatility allowing it to be incorporated into every massage whether your goal is relaxation or injury treatment.
  • Relaxation - With a foundation of Swedish massage, each massage aims to bring with it a deep sense of calm and mind/body connection even with integration of other techniques. Relaxation is inevitable.
  • Deep Tissue - This is a technique used to access several layers of soft tissues. It is designed to penetrate deep into muscle tissue and release tension.
  • Injury Treatment - Several techniques are used when we are treating an injury of any kind. The goals in the this type of work are centered around improving the client to his/her pre-injury condition. Although each massage given may not have the goal of treating an injury, most people find that they usually have problem areas that are ongoing. The same principles used in specific injury treatment massage are used when a therapist encounters a problem area in any massage.
  • Hot Stone - This is a very specialized type of massage that incorporates the use of heated stones throughout the course of a 1 1/2 hour massage. The stones are not only used in the massage, they are strategically placed on various spots of the body to draw out toxins and relax the muscles.

Massage Therapy - Massage is not only a wonderful way to help manage stress, it is an excellent way to facilitate and manage the connection between your mind and body. It can help you tune out the world and tune you into your body. Whether it is a gift for yourself or someone you care about, massage is an awesome way to slow down, unwind, and reconnect your mind and body.
