Biography
Lori is an NCCAOM (National Commission for the Certification of Acupuncture
and Oriental Medicine) Certified Acupuncturist. In addition to Acupuncture, she
also uses several other treatment modalities to help her patients; these include
Chinese Herbs and Patents, Tui Na, Acupressure, Electro-Acupuncture, TDP heat
lamps, Cupping, Gua Sha and Myofacial Release. Balancing

She was born and raised in Australia where she earned her Bachelor of Applied
Science in Occupational Therapy at the University of Adelaide. She is a Registered
Occupational Therapist and currently works part time in a rehabilitation unit
in Redmond where she enjoys treating patients and seeing them return home to
live independently. She has had over 22 years of experience and education in
western medical rehabilitation and has worked in Australia , Canada and the
United States. She enjoys working with patients to help them achieve their

Insurance Billing
Contracted as an “in network” provider with the following companies:
- Aetna
- Cigna
- First Choice
- Premera
- Regence
- Uniform
- - Will also submit PIP auto insurance claims
If contracted with your insurance, she will submit claims for you. If, however, she is not
contracted with your plan, a payment request is made at time of service. Her receipt may
be submitted in many cases as an “out of network” provider. Please check with your individual
insurance provider for “out of network” coverage for acupuncture.
Office Visit and Fee Schedule
In this system of medicine each treatment builds on the previous one.
I individualize each treatment plan according to the specific condition
being treated. Generally, acute conditions respond more quickly than chronic conditions.
Patients will usually begin to see positive changes within the first few treatments.
I also encourage follow up care to prevent symptoms from recurring and to maintain wellness.
The first office call is 75- 90 minutes long, with any subsequent return office call
being 45-60 minutes long.
Please refer to my financial policy form below for my current fee schedule and discounts
for payment at time of service.
For payment, I accept cash, checks, Visa and MasterCard and the insurances listed above.
Your appointment time is reserved exclusively for you. Missing appointments compromises the
effectiveness of the treatment. Please give 24 hours notice for cancellations, otherwise a
$25 missed appointment fee may be charged

Smoking Cessation Program
Acupuncture alleviates side effects that may be experienced from withdrawing
from smoking. The program consists of 6 one hour acupuncture treatments over 2-3 weeks.
Price: $300 per person or $500 per couple.
